Celebrate Memorial Day with AAU Basketball

Celebrate Memorial Day at the AAU Boys and Girls Basketball Memorial Day Classic in beautiful Orlando, FL! A total of 301 boys and girls teams from seven different states will converge at the incomparable ESPN Wide World of Sports complex, Silver Spurs Arena/Heritage Park and Orlando Sports Center to try to bring home the gold. An international team will also be joining us at the event to try to bring home the gold for their country! Age divisions will range from 9U – 19U for the boys and 4th grade through 11th grade for the girls.

Registration for this event will be held on May 22nd from 2pm – 9pm at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex. Remember: a person listed as bench personnel MUST check in their team AT LEAST two hours prior to the start of your first game. Pool play will kick off at 5pm on Friday and continue into Sunday morning, when the first bracket games will begin. Monday will be designated as Championship Day, where all remaining teams will be fighting to stay in the chase for the gold.

The top two teams in each age division will receive medals and because this is a Super Regional event, the top four (4) finishers in each age group will receive a CONDITIONAL bid into the 2015 AAU Girls Basketball National Championships. Teams that earn a conditional bid MUST play in their District Qualifying Tournament to validate their bid.

If you’re a family member, friend or fan and are planning on watching the games at ESPN Wide World of Sports, you WILL need to pay admission. Daily admission tickets are available for $17 per adult and $12 per youth. Length of Event tickets will also be available for $34 per adult and $24 per youth. These tickets can be purchased at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Box Office. - We will be using our NEW schedule/results software, Tourney Text. This is a great software that we are excited to be using to help bring the schedule and results to our teams faster than ever before.
