Spring has Sprung! Join Us at the AAU Spring Fling

Spring has sprung, which mean the 2015 AAU Spring Fling I is HERE! This event is always a great time because it kicks off the AAU Basketball season for the ladies! We will have 111 teams, most of them from Florida, attending this event. However, there will be a few teams from out of state, including the Wisconsin, Potomac Valley, Georgia and Central AAU districts. One team, the Providence Storm will even be joining us from the Bahamas! Age divisions will range from 4th/5th – 11th Grade and will feature division I, II and III teams. All games will be played at ESPN Wide World of Sports at HP Fieldhouse and the Josten’s Center.

Registration for this event will be Friday, April 10th from 2pm-9pm at ESPN Wide World of Sports complex. Pool play will begin Friday the 10th at 4pm and bracket play will start as soon as Saturday. Sunday will be Championship Day and will feature bracket play, ending with a champion of each age division. The top two teams in each age division will receive medals and because this is a Super Regional event, the top four (4) finishers in each age group will receive a CONDITIONAL bid into the 2015 AAU Girls Basketball National Championships. Teams that earn a conditional bid MUST play in their District Qualifying Tournament to validate their bid.

If you’re a family member, friend or fan and are planning on watching the games at ESPN Wide World of Sports, you WILL need to pay admission. Daily admission tickets are available for $17 per adult and $12 per youth. Length of Event tickets will also be available for $34 per adult and $24 per youth. These tickets can be purchased at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Box Office.

We will be using our NEW schedule/results software, Tourney Text. This is a great software that we are excited to be using to help bring the schedule and results to our teams faster than ever before.
