Ashlynn Shade runner and basketball player named inaugural AAU Female Athlete of the Month powered by CaptainU.
Ashlynn Shade has been an invaluable asset for the Indiana Girls Basketball club. She volunteers regularly at Hemophilia of Indiana fundraising events in support of her grandfather and brother, who both have Hemophilia B. She has also volunteered and run in the FitLivin’ Thanksgiving Day Run for the last nine years.
Ashlynn is a high-level basketball player and participates in cross country at Noblesville West Middle School in Noblesville, Indiana. She is a straight-A student and has been recognized by her teachers for her responsibility, leadership and positive attitude. Her 13U Indiana Girls Basketball team won the USJN May 15U Tournament and she helped lead her middle school team to an undefeated record for the 2017-18 season.
Ashlynn’s previous team, Sky Diggs Elite, has finished fourth, second and seventh in the last three years at AAU National Championships.
