KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (June 21, 2023)
– Who’s ready to hit the hardwood? It’s time to find out who the top teams in AAU Basketball are at the 2023 AAU World Championships. AAU Girls Basketball will kick things off this summer with the AAU Girls’ 2nd – 8th Grade World Championships in Knoxville, Tennessee.
 
The Knoxville Convention Center will play host to some of the best 2nd – 8th grade teams in the United States. With 186 teams and over 1,860 athletes, all the action will happen under one roof. Teams will take to the courts with hopes of getting their hands on an AAU World Championship trophy.
 
Competition will tip-off on June 23 with championships being earned on June 26. Seeding is based off of the results of the 2022 AAU World Championships. This is just the start of the AAU Basketball World Championships. AAU Girls’ 9th-11th Grade World Championships will begin on July 20 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. For more information, click here.
 
On the boys’ side, 7U/1st Grade, 8U/2nd Grade and the East Coast Division III Championships will step on the court starting on June 30 in Westminster, Maryland and Hampton, Virginia. AAU Boys World Championships will also take place in Clarksville, Tennessee, Greensboro, North Carolina, and Orlando, Florida throughout the month of July.
